About

I’m the oldest of eight, currently living in Austin, Texas, and a student at a Bible school. I’m a soon-to-be wife who dreams of helping the Lord’s Church with my writing and knack for never being able to shut up when I feel passionate about something.
As a child, I always imagined myself being fearless and bold as an adult. Ironically, I am a huge extrovert and homebody, but I try not to let that hold me back from trying to make a difference, even if it’s just in one person’s life. I firmly believe in using the hard and dark times you once went through in life to help others currently going through it; otherwise, was the pain for nothing?

On a lighter note, I’m also a coffee addict and a lover of nature, photography, popcorn, and vegan ice cream. Life decided to put me on ‘slightly challenging mode when it came to allergies, so I am now allergic to cedar, fragrance, dairy, and latex (yes, I collected allergies like pokemon cards as a kid). If you did not already assume, from “the eldest of eight,” I was homeschooled, and I loved every second of it, especially the extra time to be creative and spend time with my family. I was blessed with amazing parents and siblings, there isn’t a day that goes by since moving out that I don’t miss them or fondly look back on my memories with them.

My family + my wonderful fiancΓ©

Writing has been a passion of mine since I can remember. I’ve been an avid reader from the moment I could read, and in middle school, I read all of the books in the juvenile section of our local library. Even before I could read or write, I made up stories in my head. I started writing short stories and started a writing blog called Writing is Life, where I quickly gained many followers and friends, running the blog for five years. I also started a “rebellion” called Rebellious Writing, a website run by a group of teens against immoral content in books. If you cannot tell by now, I have always been an opinionated person (sometimes too much for my own good), and when running both of these blogs, I thought I would blog forever and become a world-famous author one day.

Then, starting in middle school, I began to have panic attacks and struggled with feelings of depression and suicidal thoughts. I hit the lowest point of my life when one day, I thought about what my future would look like and saw nothing but darkness. It was the first day I truly wanted to die. I had nothing to live for and nothing to hope for. While I had grown up believing in God in the Southern Baptist belief, I had started questioning things as I noticed the inconsistency of the doctrine in the denominational world. My faith in what I had always known was shaken, and I felt like I had no place or worth in this world.

Yet, even in the darkest of times, the light of the Truth shone through, and to make a long story short–I found the truth of God’s Word, and it transformed the brokenness of my life into something worth fighting for. Finally, I had something to live for–God. He became my everything and helping His Church and others find Him, and the truth in His Word became my goal.

After years of slowly losing passion for life, I had lost my passion for writing fictional works, but I soon found that my love for writing hadn’t died out; it had merely changed. Now, here I am; it’s very nice to “meet” you. My inbox and comments are always open, don’t be a stranger!
